Rogelio Mosqueda

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Rogelio grew up the youngest son of Mexican immigrants. Both doctors who would instill a sense of discipline and study that would carry over into the film world.

Ghost stories and bedtime recounting of “Pet Sematary” and “The Shinning” would leave him with an appetite for engaging stories. This obsession would eventually turn into a career.

Years of working as a 1st AC allowed him to keep his ear close to the conversations between directors and cinematographers to learn the solutions to the many challenges one faces on set. The creative shortcuts to visual storytelling. And the unknown known of filmmaking.
